Sinigang Na Hipon


1 box                        prawns with head (from an Asian store)

2-3                             tomatoes

1                                 onion

Green beans




(basically whatever veggies you want)

1 package             sinigang mix (from a Filipino store)


Boil onions, tomatoes and eggplant (if you want eggplant, you don’t have to have eggplant) with salt and water. Add prawns. When prawns are cooked, put it in a separate bowl so it does not overcook.

Add rest of vegetables.

Make sure vegetables are tender and then add sinigang mix.

You can add prawns back at this point.

Note: you can do the same with pork, ribs or beef.
